Sequoyah high school was the best decision I have made for my high school career. It helped me build my readiness for the real world, my talking skills, my writing skills, and other academic worries I had. I made life long friends from this school, and the rest feels like a community that I will always search for. If there was something I would change, I would implement a good food service.

The environment they create there is unlike any other school and we've visited all of them. Our 5 y.o. son can't wait to go every day and is learning like a sponge. More importantly, they really focus on teaching kids how to care for and about each other and to embrace all of our differences. I honestly tear up at almost all the functions I go to, it's just a unique beautiful experience to witness and when I think about it, I feel truly blessed.

As parents for 10 years and now a Board Trustee, my wife and I have two sons at Sequoyah. The administration and faculty have consistently shown genuine care for our children as individuals, working with us to navigate what's best for each of them with flexibility and compassion. The nurturing envir...

My son had an incredible experience at Sequoyah. What a gift to have a school that is serious about academics but is not so stressful that it makes high school miserable. He made great friends, learned to talk in front of a group and to take charge of his own learning.

I have three kids at Sequoyah, and they have all been at the school since kindergarten (this is our sixth year at the school). I cannot speak highly enough about this school. It's a place where teachers and administrators fiercely guard the experience of childhood and being a kid, while also challen...

As a parent of two children who have attended Sequoyah since kindergarten, I’ve seen the incredible impact of its progressive education. Our children have developed confidence, independence, and a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom. Our son, once hesitant to speak up, has become a co...
