Jie Ming Mandarin Immersion Academy is one of the top elementary schools in Minnesota. It has one of the most diverse student populations in the Saint Paul Public School district. Student standardized test score are in the top 10 for the state, with reading, math, science proficiency all over 85%. We have an engaged parent community, an amazing principal who has developed the program from the ground up, and hard working teachers who are native speakers.

I would recommend this school with some reservations, as its suitability depends on the child and family dynamics. While the community is generally positive, my child struggled to thrive in this environment. The homework load was excessive, and the school's emphasis on academics overshadowed attenti...

We love this school. The uniforms, the curriculum, the staff, PTA and everything else are top notch!

We love this school! We actually looked at several private schools in the area (Blake, SPA), and chose Jie Ming based on the overall quality of education and the immersion language program. Bonus points: it’s a no-cost St. Paul public school!!
