Hacienda is a great place to send your child to school- that's why you have to win the lottery to get in :) My experience has been wonderful. Caring and smart teachers- my son loves going to school every day! The parent community is warm and welcoming as well.

Such a fantastic school. They are huge on parent involvement. The school communicates with parents on a weekly basis and as-needed for certain events. Their outdoor science classroom is fantastic. My children adore this school! Absolutely recommend.

Great school with dedicated staff and caring teachers. Focuses on science subjects. Definitely a plus if you live nearby and has kids of elementary school age. My kid loves it !

While there are other elementary schools in SJUSD that score higher, Hacienda has some awesome teachers, a great sense of community, and the outdoor science classroom can't be beat.
