Sun Valley Magnet School is a good middle school and high school. It's a small school, but there's more opportunities to have, and more resources to know. 2021 Sun Valley's schedule was 4x4 which only contains 4 classes each day, but it had 1 and half hours of classes. This year 2025 they changed it to 7 periods because some students needs to get their credential for their classes to be able to graduate and be on track. Teachers are friendly and care for students.

What I personally enjoy about Sun Valley Magnet School are the hardworking and trustworthy teachers. Although, SVMS may not provide a traditional high school experience (No Football team and a small high school), students have the advantage to have a close bonded experience and devoted time with their teachers and counselors .

this school needs to improove with the teachers and principal on open houses becouse the waiting time in between classes is to long and when it your turn the teachers sound like a tape recorder they tell the parents the same thing as the person before you.
