I had a good experience overall but there were times where I felt disregarded by others like for cinco de mayo someone had a mexican flag and someone not only snatched the flag from them but also was holding up an American flag. This made me feel a bit unsafe because they were able to do that with so much disregard to what the day even stands for and why we celebrate it.

My experience at Atwater High School wasn't bad I would say it was a decent experience. I felt like there was something for everyone no matter the type of pathway you were going for or future you were pursuing. Of course I felt like they could improve on the way teachers teach and they should know who they are hiring or giving teachers a little more help if they're new to teaching or new to teaching something even if they have experience in teaching. I felt like something the teachers could do to better help students with learning was getting an understanding of the way students learn in order to accommodate the students way of learning a subject. Overall I wouldn't say its a bad school its entertaining and has most of what you're looking for even though they could add a few more classes that interest students a bit more like a couple different foreign languages or a culinary class. I felt like they could definitely also ask students what they would like to see a change in at school.

Atwater High School hadn't guided me about info for college or scholarships until my senior year. I wish I would've started learning more about college life starting my Freshman year in High School.

This school is performing better than most in the valley. With a diverse group of students its test scores have flourished. The Ag program is the best in the state and has been recognized as such. The Principal is strong and is focused on student involvement. The leadership seems to try new things e...

they don't even deserve a one in my opinion its the worst school in the area. people are better off going to buhac at least there the staff know how to deal with problems(or from what i've heard) i would reccommend any school over atwater high
