It is a great school with amazing people. You just have to make sure you have resources or people at home that can help you with anything you need help on. Sometimes the faculty can be hard to work with but they are manageable. A very mid tier school but it can be enjoyable with the right people and friends.

The school truly is trying its best to better itself for future generations in terms of academics and student involvement. However many programs and opportunities starting up are not available for older grade levels and the ones that are are not actively promoted so chances of seeing or hearing of them is quite slim. Most students at this school are civil but there are occasional fights. Academics are fine for the most part but honors and AP classes can be quite demanding. Additionally take into consideration that many teachers for these classes (especially AP) are not the best at teaching so studying outside the classroom constantly is a must to excel in these classes and the AP tests at the end of the year (the ones in May).

I went to Academies of Education and Empowerment at Carson Senior High school. It was the best high school experience anyone can ever have. The staff members and teachers were amazing. They'll drop everything they are doing to make sure a student is okay. The staff always want to make sure everyone is included and appreciated so they'll throw little events that's supports peoples cultures. The teachers are very understanding and want nothing but the best for their students. They're always their to help if you do not understand the work they give. They know we go through things and have lives so they'll work with our schedule most of the time. Academies of Education and Empowerment has to be one of the best schools I've ever been to. My friends and I will miss the staff so much as we move on into adulthood.

This is the school Roddy Rich, the most famous rapper and the person who makes banger songs graduated from. This school is great and so is Roddy Rich.

Ineffective leadership on the part of the administration has had a detrimental effect on the quality of education at Carson High school over the last several years.

The staff is RUDE, LAZY and very UNPROFESSIONAL!! The teachers don't care for the students and they are just as lazy as the staff in the front office.

Alas, Carson High (main complex) is only a shell of its former self. There's a lot of blame that can go around for this. I teach at this school but couldn't see sending my own children here. The classes are packed beyond reason and with now seven periods there is barely time to cover the material th...
