garfield is top notch for the music program and it was great participating in that. there are some downsides like the location being in the middle of central district where there's violence

The academics are diverse, but the culture in the school could be more inclusive. Safety concerns such as bullying, mental health, gun violence, and violence are not handled as they should.

The best experience that I had in Garfield was the school spirit and the staff that help you find appropriate for college. What I hope that Garfield would change is better security due to the surrounding areas.
