The best parts are the sport programs although they are somewhat underfunded. The worst part is the amount of vaping in the bathrooms and the almost yearly at this point gun or bomb threat

There are mostly great teachers, however a few are extremely unhelpful and can't teach properly. The building is very old, we just got a new Impact Center which is great, but we aren't allowed to use it. Even being in an engineering class(we had a lab designed for stem students) we haven't gotten to spend much time in the building.

Overall, my experience in Durango High School was bittersweet. On the bright side, the school spirit was contagious, and everyone seemed genuinely passionate about academics. However, there was a noticeable absence of student input in decision-making processes, which was a downside. I'd love to see more opportunities for students to voice their opinions and be involved in shaping the school's direction.

Absolutely the worst school I have been to. It is full of drugs and I was not challenged academically whatsoever. The foreign language program was very poor. The teachers do not make an effort to properly teach. Their attendance policy is horrid, they let kids skip whenever they want. I went their f...

This school was alright. But the cliques and groups are honestly awful. If you aren't popular nobody talks to you. They look right past you. DHS has some good teachers, but also a fare share of really terrible teaching styles. Most of the people that go here are rich, and many of them are snobby. Lo...
