I haven't had any worse parts of my experience here at James Monroe but i've witnessed some people have bad experiences. One thing is there is a lot of fights and violent things happening and I think the staff should be more aware of that. One good thing I've experienced is hearing about college and getting help on how to apply , fasfa, etc.

Over the last two years, it has been a wonderful experience at Monroe. Most of the teachers i have encountered are more than welcoming and are always available to talk to. Being in James Monroe highschool had led me experience some of the greatest days. The music department has become a huge part of my life, and really makes the highschool experience even more exciting

The teachers are very supportive of their students. They try to push their students to be the best they can be. They have fun events sometimes as well. And a good campus.

My daughter has learning differences and this school has been amazing for her. The teachers are very caring and patient.

My daughter enjoys every second of the law and government magnet. She genuinely enjoys learning from her magnet teachers and being around those who share her knowledge and interests. This is an excellent school and im glad to have transferred her from a charter school where she learned or understood...
