I have had a good experience at Verdugo Hills High School, I would like there to be more course options which I know is difficult because a small school, however despite this there is a good opportunity to find your own online college class for a 4th period which I enjoy. I think the ability to be involved in clubs is extremely smooth and easy to do here which is one of the best parts, as well as the ability to be involved I sports.

Verdugo Hills was a school I had no intention of coming to. I only had came just because my parent wanted me at the same school as my sibling. As a student who came from outside the area, the first few months of freshman year was rough. Although as time went on I absolutely fell in love with my school. I made friends, I was able to fall in love with subjects such as math and computer science in which helped me realize what I wanted to be when I grew up. I've never had a teacher who never failed to make me enjoy learning no matter what the subject was. I no longer see my school as an intimidating environment, it became my home.

I liked the array of academics offered. A lot of AP classes and most of the teachers are fairly helpful and encouraging. Something I would like to see changed is the way that outspoken students are treated. Last year there was a series of protests at the school for students who had experienced harassment, sexual or not. There has been some change but it is an uphill climb.

Great school! We like it better than CV. This school promotes education, has so many AP courses, and much more advanced in college readiness. Less fights and conflict than CV, less students too. Very safe school.

This school is a total joke, all they want to do is push AP classes and brag about how many credits a student can have when they graduate. There are a few good teachers but most should look for a new career. Admin is very taken with their abilities but definitely lack in leadership abilities. There...

Even during the pandemic, Ms. Crawford and Ms. Atwall were there to support my daughter well after their regular work hours. IEP's were scheduled on time and were thorough. My daughter earned a 4.0 with the extra support she received especially as a 10th grader in Algebra 2! Math is her disability....

My daughter has enjoyed her first year so far. The counselors worked with her to schedule classes to allow for both AP classes and arts electives she wanted. Teachers appear to communicate clear expectations about coursework. Campus always seems full of friendly students and doesn't feel like there...
