I like Verdugo hills high school because I had good support from the admin and my teachers . It has a friendly environment . The clubs are diverse. Bullying has not been noticeable and teacher and admin try their best to keep the students engaged and safe.overall , I have had a very positive experience in this high school.

The best part of my school experience is how welcoming the teachers are. The teachers always put in effort to teach and actually build connections with students. The worst part of my school experience are the students most of them a disrespectful and don't act like adults. These students tend to act reckless.

I liked the array of academics offered. A lot of AP classes and most of the teachers are fairly helpful and encouraging. Something I would like to see changed is the way that outspoken students are treated. Last year there was a series of protests at the school for students who had experienced harassment, sexual or not. There has been some change but it is an uphill climb.

Most teachers at this school are decent people; they try to teach us how to learn and are always ready to help if we reach out to them. As for the rest of the staff, they rarely keep students informed, and their only apparent goal is to push us into Advanced Placement (AP) courses. I personally hear...

Great school! We like it better than CV. This school promotes education, has so many AP courses, and much more advanced in college readiness. Less fights and conflict than CV, less students too. Very safe school.

This school is a total joke, all they want to do is push AP classes and brag about how many credits a student can have when they graduate. There are a few good teachers but most should look for a new career. Admin is very taken with their abilities but definitely lack in leadership abilities. There...

Even during the pandemic, Ms. Crawford and Ms. Atwall were there to support my daughter well after their regular work hours. IEP's were scheduled on time and were thorough. My daughter earned a 4.0 with the extra support she received especially as a 10th grader in Algebra 2! Math is her disability....
