Universal School serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade in pursuit of both spiritual and academic excellence. This private school, located on the East Side of Buffalo, New York, is affiliated with Jami Masjid and prides itself on offering meaningful Islamic, Quranic, and Arabic curriculums, along with a Hifz morning program. The school opened in 2001 and has since grown in popularity.
Students are offered a balanced experience based on “strong Islamic values and morals with the highest academic standards.” The school offers small class sizes and boasts a 100% college acceptance rate. Tuition assistance is available through two separate financial aid programs, Buffalo’s Bison Scholarship and Universal School’s Zakah funds.
This beautiful campus features a community garden with fruit trees, an updated playground and a challenging fitness course. The school encourages the neighborhood community to use the amenities after school hours, keeping with Jami Masjid’s goal to enlighten and enhance every community member’s life.
