Every student at Modesto High School has great school spirit. The teachers treat everyone the same and prepare their students for future education.

I think Modesto High is a really great place but could be made much better. There is always a club that you can join and find friends so we're not alone. However, I think that because of where we live the safety is not very good. My school is located right next to downtown Modesto on the west side and there is a lot of gang violence and drug abuse. Although with these challenges in our school our new administration is already making it much better and have plans for the upcoming students.

I am so disappointed in the new administration. The IB program is not what it used to be. All the good teachers have retired. I wouldn't have changed my high school experience at all. Great school academically with the IB Program, as well as the opportunity to be partial IB and/or AP and CP classes. School spirit is great here-pep rallies at other schools don't compare, and other extra-curricular activites are great too.
