Every student at Modesto High School has great school spirit. The teachers treat everyone the same and prepare their students for future education.

I think Modesto High is a really great place but could be made much better. There is always a club that you can join and find friends so we're not alone. However, I think that because of where we live the safety is not very good. My school is located right next to downtown Modesto on the west side and there is a lot of gang violence and drug abuse. Although with these challenges in our school our new administration is already making it much better and have plans for the upcoming students.

I am so disappointed in the new administration. The IB program is not what it used to be. All the good teachers have retired. Some of the teachers are rude and sarcastic to students, instead of bringing their spirits up they criticize them. I have brough up concerns with assistant principal and want...

I wouldn't have changed my high school experience at all. Great school academically with the IB Program, as well as the opportunity to be partial IB and/or AP and CP classes. School spirit is great here-pep rallies at other schools don't compare, and other extra-curricular activites are great too.
