it is a jock not a school the principal is never there . three teacher in the whole school no privacy in the office regard the parents the three teacher is running the school . every teacher teaching two class at the same time so the teacher are tired and stress, cranky so they do not have energy to teach the kids the 3rd grade cannot read and understand what they are reading and write the mate is poor when they have state exam the teacher help the kids to do good in the exam so they look good.

these pass couple years that I was there, there was three teacher for K_5 but every year they leave and another set of three teacher get hired they do not last after one year they leave or they get fired .to much stress because that school is jock....

This school is just beautiful. Its been over 10 years since I went here but it really shaped me as a person. What a fantastic experience my daughter has at Summerland. After a mediocre start in other schools, she finally found a perfect environment allowing her her excel academically and socially. The close knit student body and parent community are what make this school a 10.

Summerland School is a great school for our child who is thriving here. We like it that there are many families from Summerland and Carpinteria. My kids loved going to the camps that are offered through the school. CIMI and the Astro Camp.
